WELCOME TO CATESOL 2008

The conference will be held in Sacramento, California, from Thursday, April 10 to Sunday, April 13. The sites are the Hyatt Regency, the Sheraton, and the Convention Center, all close to each other on 13^th Street, between J and L Streets, downtown.

REGISTRATION

Register before February 28^th for the best prices. Prices are $175 for members, $100 for presenters and students, $225 for non-members (includes 1 year of membership). Group discounts ($15 off per person) are available for five people applying together. One day tickets will only be available onsite.

PRESENTERS of concurrent and poster sessions

We expect about 300 presentations over two days, as well as level meetings, interest group meetings, and featured topics. We are inviting speakers at all levels, from Elementary and Secondary to Adult, Community College and University, as well as Intensive English Programs and members from Nevada. This year we'll have two large poster sessions on both Friday and Saturday.

Ø Friday luncheon at 12:00, Noted poet José Montoya of Sacramento

*Luncheon is a ticketed event, $40 for full elegant lunch

Ø Saturday plenary at 9:00 a.m., Claire Kramsch, Linguist from UC Berkeley

*Plenary is free with conference admission
