Escorted Dinners

On Friday evening, groups of up to 10 individuals can be escorted by a local Sacramentan to one of six local restaurants. All restaurants are an easy walk from the conference sites and have entrees for under $20. Individuals are responsible for their own expenses. The escort will accompany the group from the hotel to the restaurant, coordinate settlement of the bill, and obtain receipts for those who need them. Please bring enough small bills to facilitate making change and agree beforehand whether to split the bill or itemize.

Sign up at the conference’s Hospitality Desk, located near Registration at the Convention Center. Departure time and place will be 6:00 p.m. from the area of the Hospitality Desk. Adjustments or additions may have to be made, depending on group size and availability of volunteer escorts, but below are the planned restaurants choices. If you are disabled and cannot walk the short distance to a restaurant, please inform Hospitality in advance so taxi arrangements can be made for you.
