9:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Dining at one of several area restaurants open late to Second Saturday attendees

We recommend making a reservation for dinner at a restaurant as soon as you can in April, as they fill quickly. Refer to the Restaurant Guide on the website at www.catesol2008.org.

April 12th is Second Saturday and Sacramento gallery owners open their doors to serve tastes and treats amid original art works by some of the region’s finest artists.

We’ll start the evening with a no-host bar and hors d’oeuvres around the Hyatt’s outdoor pool and patio at 6:00 p.m. While you’re sipping your favorite cocktail, you’ll receive a bag full of goodies including directions for the "Art Card" game, a strolling map, suggestions of interesting places to dine following the gallery walk, and arrangements for a group guide or transportation if desired.

It’s a lively scene with plenty of excitement and visual stimulation. Talk with local featured artists at several of the galleries. And, we’ll even make it rewarding – with a game of "Collect the Art Cards" that will reward lucky winners with a prize they can share with their classroom. This is an artsy, fun-filled experience that even local Sacramentans don’t want to miss!
